During the sorting of household waste at the Novocheboksarsk waste handling complex, an employee found something keenly similar to a grenade. Employees of AN-Security, ensuring the safety of the facility, notified emergency services and carried out a complete evacuation of personnel.
The sapper who arrived at the scene confirmed that the ammunition piece was a combat one, not a training one. It turned out to be a Soviet RGD-5 offensive hand grenade without a detonator. Specialists took away the dangerous object, and the complex continued its work.
