A dangerous discovery with explosives found by a security guard in a Novosibirsk shopping centre

A tape-wrapped object with wires in it was lying on a table near the cashier’s area. Natalia Kashkareva, a security guard at a shopping centre in Novosibirsk, was not confused and did everything according to instructions. While Rosgvardiya, police, ambulance, firefighters and sappers were on their way to the site, the woman began evacuating the shop employees and visitors.

With all precautions, FSB sappers defused the device, and in 6 hours, the officers detained the suspect.

— Of course, when I saw that object which was reported to me by the shopping centre caretaker, my heart raced and the blood rushed to my head. There were 30 people in the shop. Fortunately, the emergency response team arrived in 5−7 minutes. Now I feel fine, and I’m back on my shift,' said Natalya.
