Marathon "PRO vazhnoe" ("ABOUT the important")
On August 10, the marathon "PRO vazhnoe" started in Yekaterinburg — a joint project of the Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Market of the Sverdlovsk region and the shopping center "Rainbow Park".
Nine weeks of the project are devoted to care, health, hobbies, sports, love for the older generation and pets. The marathon will end only in October, and until the very end, the participants of the event will be under the protection of AN-Security.

On August 13, an event dedicated to the Builder's Day was held in the Cheryomushki hotel and entertainment complex in Sterlitamak. Anton Hadzhiyski, CEO of HeidelbergCement in Russia, was present at the celebration. The German company occupies a leading global position in the production of cement, concrete and other building materials.
At the same time, a closed event for a professional holiday for Holsim employees was held in the city park of Volsk. In Russia, the company is represented by four cement plants and three quarries for the extraction of non-metallic materials.

On August 27, Yekaterinburg hosted the only festival of geek culture in the Urals, "GeekKon". In addition to cosplay shows, expert performances, platforms for gamers and comics fans, the event also organized an alley of talented authors, where illustrators and screenwriters could demonstrate their work and receive support.
During the event, an anonymous call about a bomb at the fest was received. "Everything turned out fine. Our employees did not find any objects that could threaten the safety of visitors," stated Yevgeny Ovcharenko, head of the Ural regional representative office.
